Namibia Photography Workshop - Nov 2018

Duman Workshops

Namibia is a photographer's dream. Contrasting landscapes, deep vivid colors, incredible food and accommodation and varied cultures make for a very unique location. On this journey, we will have the opportunity to photograph the haunting Kalmanskop - the deserted German diamond ghost town. Andrei will help guide you to the famous spots to capture the eerie light as it drapes across the sand filed rooms. We will have special access to shoot sunrise and sunset. Moving northwards, we drive towards the imposting sand dunes of Sossusvlei and the unique Dead Flei dried up lakebed that house the skeleton Dead Acacia trees. It is one of the best places in the world to photograph the Milky Way. A sunrise hot air ballon ride over the Namib desert is an optional attraction and one not to be missed.

Further in the trip, we will be exploring one of the best places to see game - Etosha National Park. The watering holes that dot the park present a great opportunity to spot the Big 5. We will also have the opportunity to do a photoshoot with the Himba Tribe, famous for the red clay that they put on their skin and in their hair to protect them from the sun's rays.

This workshops is a wonderful opportunity to capture some incredible images and to have some amazing experiences. Due to the longer than usual distances, there will be some driving involved.
